Scribes are some of my earliest pieces.  I began making these a number of years ago, before I had fully developed my 'narrative' jewellery collection.  But...I always had some sort of narrative going on in my head.  Scribes are writers...and these pieces relate to the art, science and practice of writing and reading.   They are simple little pieces, usually just a pen nib combined with a section of domestic cutlery. Sometimes a bead added.  They could be the central pendant to a narrative necklace about a favourite writer.   The most popular Scribes were earrings.  Now the scribes tend to function as talismans on more complex pieces.  Scribes work well with Tribes.   Each Scribe is different - please request images for what is currently available.
